Department Objectives

  • Strengthen the knowledge of Basic Medical Science relevant to the radiology
  • Describe the principles of Diagnostic and interventional Radiology (Knowledge).
  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the common aspect of clinical radiology that comprises of the routine general work in clinical practice
  • Demonstrate competent skill in radiological diagnosis of common clinical problems
  • Competent to undertake all appropriate radiological procedure and technique in the management of clinical problems
  • Emphasize the importance of clinical orientation, and multidisciplinary approach to solve complex diagnostic problems
  • Capable of working in a professional manner
  • Able to work unsupervised and independently
  • Able to work within a professional/ interprofessional team when relevant
  • Committed and prepared to lifelong learning and participation in continuing professional development
  • Develop knowledge and skill in basic research methodology in radiology
